Career Transitions is an online career guidance center that walks users through the job-search process from beginning to end. It offers users a complete, personalized and guided experience from assessing strengths and interests, to exploring new opportunities, to ultimately improving the chances of landing a job. In the Career Transition training, students will • Learn how to create a personal account. • Learn how to create 3 types of resumes (Skills based, Education based, and Experience based) • Learn how to prepare for the job-search process by building, saving, retrieving and updating personal career information with a career toolkit. • Learn how to assess careers by exploring current skills, occupational knowledge and interests and match them with fulfilling career paths. • Learn how to explore careers by investigating thousands of career paths, industries, locations and companies. • Learn how to improve the job-search process by finding educational opportunities and enrolling in classes to increase hiring chances. • Learn how to apply for jobs by searching job listings from around the country that meets user criteria. Career Transitions is a turnkey career resource that saves staff time and effort and provides users with an easy-to-use tool to support their job search from start to finish.
