In the Career Transition training, students will • Learn how to create a personal account. • Learn how to create 3 types of resumes (Skills based, Education based, and Experience based) • Learn how to prepare for the job-search process by building, saving, retrieving and updating personal career information with a career toolkit. • Learn how to assess careers by exploring current skills, occupational knowledge and interests and match them with fulfilling career paths. • Learn how to explore careers by investigating thousands of career paths, industries, locations and companies. • Learn how to improve the job-search process by finding educational opportunities and enrolling in classes to increase hiring chances. • Learn how to apply for jobs by searching job listings from around the country that meets user criteria.
