Discussion topics may include:

• Sensitive and equitable use of library resources by a range of customer
• Developing and maintaining staff  that represent a variety of backgrounds and interests
• Programming and community partnerships
• Collection assessment and development

To join the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Interest Group, send an email from your work email address account to sclcadmin@socallibraries.org that includes the names of the Interest Groups you want to join and agree to the online rules of conduct.  Once you receive an acknowledgement from the interest group’s listserv administrator, you’ll be able to communicate with SCLC member library colleagues on topics of mutual interest.
